A Gorton based manufacturing is seeking a recent graduate for a newly created role of Assistant Accountant - Graduate offering a salary of £18,000 - £20,000 plus study support. As an Assistant Accountant - Graduate you will: Set up new customer accounts after having completed detailed credit control checks. Send out statements on a monthly basis in line with the month-end process Post cash receipts from customers and making sure that any payments are correctly allocated to the customer accounts and to the correct invoices and resolving any issues that may arise with the customer Reconcile cash receipts from customers to the daily banking and raise credit notes. Deal with any customer account queries Manage credit control on customers for any outstanding payments.
