Due to the continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer/Purchasing Assistant for a growing construction and construction services business. This brand new role will progress into a Purchasing Manager/Buyer role for this established company that has seen significant growth over the last 12 months, and due to the growth of the business they are in need of a candidate who can take responsibility for all the purchasing and buying of raw materials and stock for the company.

You will work closely with Contracts Managers who deal with both reactive work and planned, long term contracts and take responsibility for:-
Managing existing trade/supplier accounts Developing new supplier accounts Seek to achieve best prices for orders Ordering all construction material including screws, hammers, small hand tools, paint, PPE, workwear, cladding material, roofing material, all construction type materials, fixings, and taking responsibility for ordering plant hire mach...
