Automation Engineer required to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the Ashton-under-Lyne area that specialise in designing and engineering combustion technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing Automation software to within agreed timescalles & budgetary constraints, working closely with other Software engineers and design engineers, reporting to the UK Programme Director.

Automation Engineer Position Overview

Produce software specifications and design documentation
Configure and develop software for a wide variety of applications
Design, modify and code new and existing SCADA Systems
Support commissioning of new automation and plant
Collaborate and communicate with engineers and production staff when completing project work to enhance production efficiency, effectiveness and operational understanding.
