My client is a manchester based leading retail solutions provider, looking for an experienced IT Release Manager responsible to have complete ownership of the end-to-end route-to-live process for all custom software and drive forward strategic improvements to make the processes more efficient, frequent and reliable

You will be highly competenty in and have proven experience in

Owning software release end-to-end with the demonstratable skills to enhance and develop the process
Excellent understanding of software release planning, strategy, policies, processes and procedures
Strong knowledge of methodologies across the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC), including continuous delivery techniques
Whole project lifecycle experience, working with Project Managers from initial conceptual design to testing and deployment into live
Thorough understanding of ITIL Processes, specifically Change Management, Release Management and Configuration Management
