We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a Wigan-based Primary School from March 2021. We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Teaching Assistant to provide class and lunchtime support for a pupil with autism in the first instance.

Inclusion is at the heart of this appointment and we are looking for a member of staff who believes passionately in the importance of all children being able to access mainstream schooling and a willingness to support a child with emotional and social difficulties.

You would be working under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO but would need to be able to adapt the learning and your questioning in a flexible and responsive way to enable as high a level of inclusion as possible.
