Community Led Initiatives CIC provide essential services which support people, helping them to recover from addiction, homelessness, mental ill-health and resettle in the community after prison. Founded in 2013, they work with 400 people each year across Greater Manchester and the East of England. This award-winning organisation is led by people who share lived experiences with those they support.
The Youth Support Worker will support young people between the ages of 17-25 who are transitioning from being supervised by Youth Offending Services (up to 18) to adult Probation (18+). This transition to probation creates a gap in service provision which increases reoffending rates and the seriousness of those offences. The service will provide mentoring and community support for young people, improving their ability to sustain positive change.
